HOW TO PREPARE CATALAN CREAM

It is a very good and typical Catalan recipe. It’s very easy to make and it takes approximately 25 minutes.

INGREDIENTS:
-8 eggs
-4 cups of Milk
-10 tablespoons of sugar
-2 tablespoons of cornstarch

HOW TO PREPARE IT:
First, we heat the milk in a saucepan over low heat. In a bowl, we only beat the yolks of the eggs, with 6 tablespoons of sugar and cornstarch, until we see that a smooth cream is formed and without lumps.
Next we add the cream to the saucepan of the milk, little by little and without stopping stirring so that the yolks do not curdle. Let it boil over low heat 5 minutes, stirring constantly.

FINAL PREPARATION:
We prepare 4 dishes and let them cool. When it is at room temperature we put the dishes in the fridge.
Before serving them, we put a lot of sugar on each plate and burn it.
