INTERVIEW TO LAIA PALAU
Hi, I’m
Marta Sierra and today I’m going to do an interview to Laia Palau, a basketball
player.
-Hi Laia
how are you?
-Fine, and
nervous for being here.
-So, let’s
start!
First of
all, we want to know a little bit about you:
-Ok, I’m
Laia Palau, I’m 40 years old and I’m a basketball player. I was born on the 10th
of September, 1979 in Barcelona and I’m 1, 78 tall.
Actually, I play in the Uni Girona Team, but I have played in
other teams like Juventud les Corts, Sagrada familia, C.E Universitat… Now, me
and my team we are in the feminine league of Spain.
-Well, so
you’ve been in so many teams. In which pose do you play?
-I’m the
base.
-Do you
have any medal or award?
-Yes, I
have 12 medals and I have been an absolute international since 2002 and captain
since 2014, of the Spanish team, of which she is the player with the most
internationalities in her history. I have also been three-time European
champion in 2013, 2017 and 2019, world runner-up in 2014 and Olympic runner-up
in 2016.
-That’s

-In which
year and age you start playing?
-I start
playing in 1997 in Universitat de Barcelona with 23 years.
